NURail Center receives $1.4 million US DOT grant
The U.S. Department of Transportation (U.S. DOT) has awarded a grant of $1.4 million to the National University Rail (NURail) Center, a multi-university rail transportation and engineering research center led by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

February, 2013- CN Railroad donates $500,000
to Michigan Technological University's Rail Transportation Program to create the CN Endowed Fellowship in Rail Transportation. This brings CN’s total funding to the program to $750,000.
