The program costs are supported through a workforce development grant from the Federal Railroad Administration.  However, some potential participants may not be able to cover transportation costs to our university sites.  If you or your company are interested in helping us get students to our locations, contact David Nelson at dannelso@mtu.edu.  Our preferred method would be for you to find a deserving student in your area, and make arrangements directly with them and their family for transportation costs.  Hanson Professional Services has provided this type of service to students in the Springfield, IL area for several years.  Again, contact David Nelson at dannelso@mtu.edu for ideas on how to make this happen!
