Rail Education at Michigan Tech

Rail Education at Michigan Tech includes integrated coursework, field trips, research projects, internships, scholarships, and hands-on opportunities. In addition to serving Michigan Tech and other college students, the Rail Transportation Program (RTP) also values pre-university education, providing opportunities and programming.

The Rail Transportation Program (RTP) attracts students from a wide range of degree programs. The RTP will prepare you for future employment through supportive programming, giving you the course work and unique opportunities necessary to learn about the rail transportation industry while developing critical professional skills.
